A Very Socially Distant Christmas with the Millet & District Museum & Archives
Thank you to all who participated in the Millet & District Museum & Archives Christmas events, sponsored by the Millet & District Historical Society through Town of Millet FCSS funding. Thank you to Peggy Robinson for making and donating the stockings. Thank you to the Millet Arts N Crafts Guild for donating fabric for crafts. Thank you to Bob Maynard for supplying wooden ornaments. And lastly, thank you to everyone who followed along as we moved our programming online.
The Millet Museum was able to send Christmas Kits to the residents of the John A. Smith Manor, which included tea, honey, a puzzle, a mug, and treats. Children's Kits included several crafts, treats, a gingerbread house, a handmade stocking, and a puzzle. Scavenger hunt winners received Town of Millet items, tea, honey, and a handmade Arts N' Crafts Guild item. Congratulations to the following winners of the Scavenger Hunt: Tiffany Swank + Swank children, Jane MacDonald, Heather Monahan, Jo Ann Strom, Deborah Hicks, Kay Leavitt, Kyla Theoret, Christina Max, and the Lewis children.
The staff at the Millet Museum enjoyed creating and distributing the various prizes and kits, and wish everyone a warm Season's Greetings and Happy New Year!
