About the event

This beginner workshop will introduce you to the basics of tapestry weaving. Relax and learn about Soumak, Tabby weave, and other textural stitches to create your unique design. The instructor will cover how to start on the wood frame looms, 6 basic stitches, as well as finishing to create the hanging for your wall. Get one Christmas gift out of the way! Relax and meet in our program room at the museum. Everything you need will be supplied, come and have a coffee, and learn something new!


AGE: Adult

Minimum: 3 Participants

Maximum: 8 Participants
