Christmas at the Museum

This year, the Museum is partnering with the Millet Arts & Crafts Guild, and our local business community. 

Events and information listed below. Participants are required to show a valid proof of vaccination, medical exemption, or a negative PCR or rapid test done in the last 72 hours  to enter the Museum. Masks are required by law in all indoor public spaces at this time. 

Quilt Walk 

The Millet Arts & Crafts Guild will be working with local businesses to display their quilts and promote businesses. Pick up your Quilt Walk brochure from the Millet Museum. 

Quilts will be on display from November 15-December 11. 

Lucie Heins, author of Alberta Quiltmakers and their Quilts, published by the Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society (FRAMS), will be giving a virtual Walk and Talk presentation on quilts at 10AM and 3PM, November 27, at the Museum. 

Christmas Story Walk 

Follow the Quilt Walk brochure through local businesses to read through an illustrated children's Christmas classic. Brochures available at the Museum. The story will remain up until December 11. 

Craft Sale 

The Millet Museum and Millet Arts & Crafts Guild will be hosting a craft sale on November 26-27th, from 10AM-5PM. We have a wide variety of gift-worthy options!

Call 780-387-5558 to reserve a table. $10 a table. 

Museum Open House 

The Museum will be holding an open house on November 26-27, from 10AM-5PM, including children's activities both days, and opportunities to take pictures with Santa from 12-2PM on November 27 (there will not be a photographer onsite). Thank you to the Millet Public Library for providing the children's craft kits!
