Summer 2023 Kids Programs

We're running a variety of programs this fall for a wide range of ages and interests!

SENIORS IN A DIGITAL WORLD: SMARTPHONE COURSE

We are excited to be rerunning our 12-week Smartphone course, using the course materials developed by our staff. Tuesdays from 1:30-3:30 PM. The course will cover the basics of utilizing your smartphone and getting the most out of your device. The course will run until August 22nd. 

TIME TRAVELLERS 


Drop-in kids program for all ages! Come explore different exhibit themes every week that includes the Creamery, RCMP, Music, and many more! This program will include crafts, games, and a whole bunch of fun. Weather permitting it could be held outside or inside. No pre-registration necessary. From 1 pm-3 pm Every Wednesday here at the museum, up until August 23rd. 

HERITAGE CRAFTS

For ages 6+. Come on down every Thursday and explore the world of heritage crafting! We will be working on creating a different project every week, from soap and candle making to knitting and sewing different creations. From 10-12 every week until August 24th, drop-ins are welcome. 

 

HERITAGE COOKING

For ages 6+. From soups and stews to cookies and cupcakes, Heritage Cooking will offer a beginner look into our favorite recipes both past and present. Exploring age-old recipes from our museum archives and coveted crowd favorites, Heritage Cooking is by pre-registration only, from 10-12 pm every Tuesday morning. Running up until August 22nd.
