Fall Exhibit Opening

Join us on October 15 at 1:00PM at the Museum for the opening of our two fall exhibits: Life and Letters, highlighting the life of Millet local, Bob Maynard, and Life in a Digital World, a display created in partnership will participants from the summer smartphone course, provided by the Millet Seniors Club. We will also be having special performances from African Wajjo drummers and Kekeli dancers.

Bob Maynard: Life & Letters 

This exhibit highlights the life of Bob Maynard, from his family history in Britain, to his childhood in West Africa (now Nigeria), and his adult life in Millet. Bob is an active genealogist. This exhibit showcases different technologies and techniques used to preserve family history, documents, and photographs. Read more about Bob here.

Life in a Digital World 

Just how much has technology changed in the last 80 years? And how do those changes change how we live our lives? This display was created in partnership with the Millet Seniors Club.
