Legacy Garden
Cross Hwy 2A at the crossing lights. On the right is the Legacy Garden which was planted in 2000 in celebration of a bottle of water being carried from ocean to ocean along the Trans Canada Trail. It was planted and a sign constructed in partnership with Communities in Bloom here and in Audrey, England. The garden is in the shape of a 'V' and points to the place where the Trans Canada Trail crosses the railway. Continue north on the east side of the road. You'll notice serveral more agrictultural themed flowerbeds: the Seeder bed, the Rake and Plow bed and the Manure Spreader bed. These flowerbeds are a part of Communities in Bloom projects and are maintained by the many volunteers that live here in our community.
